Research summary

My doctoral research examines how EU and UK regulatory frameworks respond to online gender-based harm, which I approach as a structural outcome of platform governance rather than isolated user misconduct.

Feminist Digital Sovereignty is the project’s central analytical and normative framework. Informed by Digital Constitutionalism and Decolonial Theory, it centres women’s digital agency and resistance rather than their vulnerability. Using a socio-legal and comparative methodology, the research examines how platform regulation in both jurisdictions conceptualises harm, allocates responsibility and governs risk, to develop a Feminist Risk-Regulation Model for Platform Governance.
