Biography

I am a first-year PGR in the Department of Sociology at Durham University, starting October 2022. I hold an MSc in Medical Anthropology and BSc in Biomedical Sciences. I am currently enrolled on the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods.

Field of Study

My research project examines the illness experiences of UK students with long-term health conditions throughout their first year of transition to Durham University. I will be taking a qualitative longitudinal approach, conducting interviews as well as employing visual and/or diary methods. My supervisors are Professor Simon Forrest and Dr Kimberly Jamie.
