I am a Colombian lawyer with experience in strategic litigation before the Inter-American Human Rights System and in socio-legal research on the right to care, gender justice, and human rights. My PhD research examines how the experiences of women searching for disappeared relatives in Latin America can inform transformative reparations policies that recognize care as a human right. Through a feminist and intersectional approach, the project seeks to develop recommendations for states and international bodies to address the gendered impacts of enforced disappearance.
