Leah Chan “Contested spaces of homelessness and being houseless: mobilising media in action-oriented research”

In Students by jvnf65

I have worked with an organisation with Headliners before to make a film on semi-supported accommodation in a campaign I started to stop the City Council from closing down a service essential for homeless young people. I achieved a level 1 in journalism/photography for this.

I have since then made a short film on veganism and what it is like to be a young person and vegan in Newcastle upon Tyne as part of a course I did on media with Headliners: achieving a level 2 award for professionals in the creative industry.

I am working as a Support Worker through Headliners for the National Citizen Service, (NCS), 2018.

When I am not doing activities such as above, I like to spend time promoting animal rights in a positive manner.
