Description:
After completing an MA Linguistics at the University of York, Jac worked as an RA on the Scots Syntax Atlas project (PI Prof Jennifer Smith) at the University of Glasgow. As part of this, she has made an acoustic study of some of the Scots dialect data gathered, most recently glottal variants in Caithness, for a paper (in preparation) co-authored with Prof Jennifer Smith.
