Online Collaboration: Some Principles

25th May 2021 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

25 May 2021

10:30 – 12:00 GMT

‘Online Collaboration: Some Principles’ with Dr Sabina Strachan of how2glu

About this Event

This session will focus on key principles and approaches of collaborating online, highlight useful features and further resources and give you the chance to play with a couple of options so that you can see how they might work for you firsthand. In particular, we’ll take a look at the potential of tools such as Zoom Whiteboard, Google docs, Google Jamboard and Mentimeter.

Sabina will signpost different kinds of platforms and options that are available, mindful of different needs that researchers, participants and partners will have, such as accessibility and technical needs. With that in mind we’ll also look at ways virtual collaboration is possible using low-tech solutions, minimum bandwidths and different levels of digital literacy. Sabina will explain how to identify key considerations and show you how to weigh up different options.

To register for this event, please request a ticket here.
