Wage gap between sectors have increased in advanced economies while labour tends to puzzlingly cluster in low wage sectors. I showed the existence of barriers or frictions to inter-sectoral labour mobility. Via two-sector general equilibrium model, I found that the frictions act as a main cause on labour misallocation and wage gap.
