Description:

I graduated from Durham University in summer 2017 with a first class honours degree, and am currently studying for the MA Research Methods (Education). Commencing in Autumn 2018, my PhD research will use mixed methods to investigate the school experiences of trans young people. One ultimate aim is to produce best practice guidelines for educational establishments, in collaboration (through focus groups) with trans young people. I will also be collecting large-scale quantitative data, in order to statistically analyse the contribution of various identified trans-exclusionary or protective factors to both the overall school experience and the wellbeing of trans young people.
