Course overview
Effective communication opens opportunity for collaboration, consultation and inspiration with non-research stakeholders. But in a busy world, how do you get the attention of those beyond academia to inform your research and ensure impact. In this session, we will help you to think differently about your presentations by asking you to:
1 Start with Why – use our proprietary planning tool to map out your presentation goals
2 Consider your performance. You’ve got to be yourself, so how do you harness your personal presence for impact when you speak?
3 Plan and structure your approach to help your audience to understand what you want to say
