19 January 2021

14:00 – 16:30 GMT

‘Collaborative Studentships: Cultivating Effective Partnerships’ with Dr Sabina Strachan of how2glu

About this Event

Are you undertaking a collaborative studentship, working closely with non-academic partners, or considering future collaborative research such as a post-doc? Then this participative workshop is for you!

It will help you cultivate effective partnerships and work with others collaboratively. We will focus on the principles of a collaborative approach, how to identify and work towards shared outcomes, and how to achieve mutual benefit and share learning. In particular we will look at relationship building and communication skills and how you can cultivate these during your collaborative experience.

You will identify and explore a range of challenges that are common to partnership-working and work through key strategies for collaborating effectively. You will be guided by how2glu experience and research, glucard™ tools and peer discussion.

Sabina will graphically illustrate concepts, demonstrate tools by sharing live visualisations and respond to your particular experiences, questions and objectives. You’ll also use glucard™ tools to capture your learning to apply going forward.

To register for this event, please request a ticket here.
